Reliance Jio has made watching TV even easier for its customers. Reliance Jio has launched the Jio TV+ app and customers can run this app on TVs running on Android, Apple, and Amazon's Fire OS. Earlier, this app could be used only through Jio set-top box (STB), which was available only with Jio Fiber and Jio Air Fiber connection.
But now customers can use the Jio TV+ app with a single login and watch more than 800 digital TV channels in multiple languages and genres. It provides access to various languages and genres including general entertainment, news, sports, music, kids, business and devotional, etc.

The JioTV+ app can be used on Android TV, Apple TV, and Amazon Fire OS and, Reliance Jio said that the JioTV+ streaming app is available on all major smart TV platforms. It offers a single login with OTT apps, modern guides, smart remote compatibility, and personalized recommendations for customers. There is also a facility to browse through content using language and category filters.
JioTV+ App features
Jio TV+ offers users a variety of streaming options directly on their smart TV without a Jio set-top box. Users can download the JioTV+ app on Android TV, Apple TV, and Amazon Firestick, and is also available on the Google Play Store. Apart from this, Reliance Jio has said that support for LG TV will be started soon. In this, users will be able to watch more than 800 digital TV channels in more than 10 languages and 20 genres.
Jio TV+ supports many OTT platforms including Disney + Hotstar, JioCinema Premium, and Discovery +, which will give people a versatile entertainment experience. According to the company, users will need a single login to run the JioTV+ app, allowing them to easily access multiple OTT apps. Its modern guide provides smart remote compatibility, playback speed control, catch-up TV, and personalized recommendations.
Along with this, users can apply different filters for categories and languages to simplify the search experience. The Jio TV+ app will also feature a special Kids section, designed to offer curated content for children, providing a safe and enjoyable viewing experience for younger viewers.

How to access JioTV Plus?
Eligibility criteria for Jio TV+ app
- To get access to the Jio TV+ app, one has to subscribe to one of the following plans:
- With all the plans in JioAirFiber, the Jio TV+ app will be provided.
- JioFiber postpaid users can run it with packs of Rs 599, Rs 899 and above.
- The access will be available for JioFiber prepaid users with Rs 999 and above plan.
- Any eligible person with JioFiber/JioAirfiber just needs to log in to the JioTV+ app using the registered mobile number to run the app.
- Then an OTP will be generated for user authentication after which it is ready to use.
